The Zagat-winning Grant Grill surrounds guests with history while at the same time offering authentic Californian cuisine. Using locally grown, market-fresh produce, it serves inventive dishes that pair perfectly with regional wines and beers and the restaurant's award-winning craft cocktails.
Opened in 1951, the Grant Grill immediately established itself as San Diego's premier dining experience. Today, the graceful wood-paneled restaurant has become an icon of elegance, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week to both city residents and tourists, who come in search of the authentic Californian cuisine. The seasonal menu, served on sophisticated cream linens, features the best California produce, fresh Pacific seafood, sustainable meats and poultry, and fresh herbs with inventive preparations.
Start off the day with Buttermilk Bliss Cakes or the Farmer's Market Omelette. The original powerspot of Downtown San Diego, lunch offers equally tantalzing menu selections, like the Local Catch Sandwich with Roasted Tomato, Sweet & Sour Onion, Butter Lettuce and Gribiche on Toasted Sourdough.
Dinner at Grant Grill proves memorable, starting with the sleek and sophisticated setting and attentive service, and course after course of seasonal cuisine. The menu changes daily to accommodate only the freshest of ingredients, hand selected by Chef de Cuisine Sam Burman.
The Grant Grill's main dining room seats up to 85 guests or private parties of up to 140. Parties of up to 12 can be seated in the Private Dining Room.
